Cab Driver Injured In Hazelwood Shooting

HAZELWOOD (KDKA) - A cab driver is recovering after being shot in Hazelwood Thursday morning.

According to police, the incident happened while the man was driving on Second Avenue around 1:40 a.m.

The bullet entered the vehicle through the rear window and struck the driver in the back.

He was able to driver to the intersection of Second and Mansion, where he flagged down a passerby for help.

The victim was transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital and was last listed in stable condition.

No other details have been released at this time.
