Shots Fired At Car In Allentown During Apparent Domestic Incident

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Multiple shots struck a woman's vehicle while she was driving in Allentown Friday afternoon, and police say she knew the possible shooters.

Police responded to the 2300-block of Eccles Street around 4:15 p.m.

According to police, a 23-year-old woman from Allentown was driving near the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Sterling Street when three men in another vehicle began following her and shot at her car. The victim said she knew the three men. The shooting occurred between Sterling Street and Eccles Street. The victim's car was struck four times, but she was not injured.

Police say the three men were driving a dark-colored Trailblazer, and they are not sure which of the three men was shooting. They believe 15 shots were fired.

Two unoccupied parked cars were also struck by one bullet each, and steps to a residence were shot four times. Police did not report any injuries.

Police are calling the shooting an apparent domestic incident. The investigation in ongoing.
