WILMERDING (KDKA)- Firefighters had to battle the frigid cold and the flames at a fire overnight in Wilmerding.

The fire started around 3 a.m. at a building on the corner of Wall Street and Welsh Avenue.

When crews arrived, flames were shooting from the building.

No one was inside the abandoned building at the time of the fire.

Crews got the fire knocked down quickly and are looking into the cause.
