The doors closed on the Ross Park Mall Old Navy earlier this week, and opened in McCandless Crossing the next day, the change from mall to strip shopping is a meaningful change of environment.
“We love the plaza, and the opportunity of the night crowd that comes here for the movie theatre, the restaurant business,” said Irena Schultz, Old Navy’s general manager.
Old Navy’s arrival is just the latest in the transformation of the old La Roche College property into a centerpiece of the North Hills.
“Future openings coming are Burgatory, that’s probably somewhere around the end of March,” said Bob McGurk, McCandless Crossing’s project manager.
Across the plaza, Chipotle is hiring.
“We’re doing very, very well. To give you an example, the BJ’s Brew pub is number one in the country, Bonefish [Grill] is running number one in the country,” said McGurk.READ MORE: Klavon's Plans To Expand To Cleveland, Serving Up Free Ice Cream Scoops For 1 Day To Celebrate
