BELLEVUE (KDKA) – A student was rushed to the hospital Monday morning, after being hit by a car in Bellevue.

Police say it happened at the intersection of North Howard Street and Lincoln Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

The student was reportedly alert and conscious, and waiting in the Bellevue Elementary School office when officers arrived.

They were taken to Children’s Hospital.

The driver who hit the child has not been identified or charged.
