BETHEL PARK (KDKA)- The Allegheny County fire marshal’s office is looking into the cause of an overnight fire in Bethel Park.

The fire started inside a garage in the 5300 block of Main Street around 3 a.m.

One vehicle was inside the garage at the time of the fire, and fire also spread to damage the siding on the apartment above the garage.

Witnesses said they heard a pop, like a transformer had blown.

Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading any further.

There is no word on the cause of the fire and no injuries were reported.
