CMU Mourning Loss Of 2 Students

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –The Carnegie Mellon University community is mourning the loss of two students.

A missing engineering student at Carnegie Mellon University was found dead Tuesday night.

Officials were looking for Elliott Glasgow after he had not been seen since 11 p.m. Sunday.

According to a statement from the university, Glasgow was found dead in an isolated space in his residence hall.

Glasgow was a first-year undergraduate engineering student from New York City.

Another student, Rajat Patra, was found dead in his off-campus apartment.

Patra, a native of Bangalore, was a student in the Heinz College Master of Information Systems Management program.

Circumstances of both of their deaths have not been released.

University officials do not believe the deaths are related.
