PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The American Heart Association is urging everyone to take a break and go for a walk today.

It’s National Walking Day.

The American Heart Association is hosting a walk in downtown Pittsburgh today at noon. The walk starts at Four Gateway Center.

The association says physical activities like walking can greatly reduce your risk of heart disease.

You can pick up a free tool kit for National Walking Day, or just check out the other events going on around town, by going to the American Heart Association’s website.
