CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) – Police are searching for a man in connection with a gas station robbery in Castle Shannon on Monday.

According to police, the incident happened at the Sunoco A-Plus in the 3500 block of Library Road around 9:45 p.m.

A white male approached the clerk and asked for cigarettes. As the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect hopped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect left the store and got into a waiting silver car being driven by a second white male.

The suspect is described as being about 5-feet-6-inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light blue, long sleeve shirt with jeans and a blue bandana.

He is believed to be in his 20’s.
