Car Struck By Train In Lawrence County
LAWRENCE COUNTY (KDKA) -- A woman managed to escape her car before it was struck by a train in Lawrence County Saturday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m., a woman lost control of her vehicle due to slick road conditions and went through the railroad crossing gate on Covert Road in Union Township, and her car got stuck on the tracks. The woman managed to escape the vehicle before it was hit by a CSX train.

The woman was placed in an ambulance after suffering minor injuries in the initial crash.
