Man Charged With Abuse After 8-Year-Old Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Injuries
NORTH BRADDOCK (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Police arrested a man after after a child was rushed to the hospital Monday morning.
According to officials, the 8-year-old boy was taken from North Braddock to UPMC McKeesport via a "private vehicle." His injuries were serious and deemed life-threatening.
It reportedly appeared that the child had been beaten.
Officers were investigating at a home on Highland Street in North Braddock Monday afternoon.

Late Monday night, 38-year-old Orlando Williams was arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail, on charges of aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and recklessly endangering another person.
Police say Williams inflicted the wounds on the child. The boy was last listed in critical condition with severe head injuries according to police.
Officers have not identified the child. Neighbors were sad to hear the boy was hurt.
"He was actually a good kid, you know he was quiet sometimes, you know how little kids are," said Ronald Ernst. "I would hate to see him get hurt."
