Ohio Priest Attacked In Confessional, Police Searching For Suspect

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (AP) - Police near Cleveland are looking for a man who they think assaulted a Roman Catholic priest in a confessional.

Diocese leaders in northeastern Ohio are warning priests and churches to be on the lookout for the suspect.

Police in Rocky River released a sketch of the suspect on Saturday. They say the attack happened on June 11.

Officers say a man in his late 20s asked to meet with a priest for confession and that the suspect took out a handgun and assaulted the priest.
