Husband Surprises Wife With 500 Roses for Last Chemo Treatment

Alissa Bousquet has been battling stage 2 since she was diagnosed last December. Her final chemotherapy treatment arrived, but her family and friends had a surprise that infused light in the treatment center.

A total of 500 roses were given to Bousquet, after weeks of treatment her husband Brad wanted to celebrate the end of her intense treatment with something special.

He was able to text 20 friends and neighbors asking them for a ten dollar donation per rose and would donate all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

News spread like wildfire and before Brad knew it 500 orders were placed.

Bousquet had no idea of the surprise that awaited her and was pleasantly surprised with her roses.

The Bousquets later distributed the roses to patients undergoing chemotherapy.

The rose donations raised $4,500 for the cancer charity and donations are still being sent in Alissa Bousquet's honor.
