One Killed In Parkway East Motorcycle Accident
ALLEGHENY COUNTY (KDKA) -- A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in an accident on the Parkway East.
The accident happened near the Wilkinsburg exit of the westbound lanes of the Parkway East just after 2 p.m.
According to police, the 63-year-old motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guard rail before hitting the concrete wall on the underpass.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exit ramp was closed for an extended period of time.
Circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear.
