MOUNT OLIVER (KDKA) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the person who held up a pizzeria at gunpoint on Friday.

According to police, it happened just before 10 p.m. at the Vocelli’s Pizza on Brownsville Road in Mount Oliver.

Surveillance video shows a woman, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, walking into the restaurant.

She walks out of the frame for a moment, but re-appears. Using both hands, the robber lifts up a gun and points it as she pulls out a plastic bag and opens it.

An employee walks over to the cash register, opens it and hands over an unknown amount of cash.

Surveillance pictures show the woman wearing a sweatshirt, with the words “breaking news.

If you recognize the woman in the surveillance video, you are asked to call Mount Oliver Police.
