PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A man was rushed to the hospital Monday after a shooting in Spring Garden.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Spring Garden Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a sedan with a bullet hole in it and a victim was found in the 1100 block of Voskamp Street.

Investigators say the 21-year-old male victim was shot in the vehicle, then exited the vehicle and fled through the alleys and up the city steps.

He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in serious condition.
