According to the Beaver County Times, 24-year-old Domonique L. Beauford is facing charges of aggravated assault, aggravated assault by vehicle, endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment for aan incident that allegedly occurred around 1 a.m. Nov. 20.

Police were called to 20th Street and Third Avenue where a man reported he had been run over by a car. The suspected car was found in the area, fleeing.

Officers commanded the driver, Beauford, to show her hands, which she initially refused to do but eventually complied.

While taking her into custody, officers found a baby unrestrained under a pile of clothing in the back seat, chewing on a lighter.

The alleged victim told police that he and Beauford got into a fight while driving and he left the vehicle. Beauford then allegedly accelerated and hit him with the car. Police said she ran "him over completely," then sped off and made a U-turn. She drove back and hit him again, police said.

She also allegedly poured gasoline on the man.
