BUTLER COUNTY (KDKA) — A man was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car on Route 422 in Butler County on Friday evening.

The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on a Route 422 off-ramp at Moraine Point eastbound.

Emergency dispatchers confirm that the victim was changing a tire on his vehicle on the off-ramp when he was struck by a motorist.

He was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
