PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — At least one firefighter was injured battling a fire in Polish Hill on Friday evening.

The four-alarm blaze broke out shortly before 10 p.m. in the 3000 block of Brereton Street.

Neighbors say the building was vacant.

According to witnesses, the firefighter was reportedly on a ladder when he brushed against a live wire.

There’s no word yet on his condition or what sparked the fire.
