Report: Hackers Stole $172B Globally In 2017

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Hackers got away with more than $172 billion from people around the world last year alone.
Norton Cyber Security says the most common cybercrime involved information theft from a device using a virus.
It found 44 percent of consumers were affected in the last year and the average victim lost about $142.
