Pittsburgh Weather: Rain Chances Stick Around Into Holiday Weekend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - An area of low pressure will keep things soggy Friday evening and Friday night.

This "low" is cutting off from other atmospheric features that would typically push it out of town in a timely fashion, so we are going to see rain chances stick with us into the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will both see hit-or-miss showers, but also some breaks in the rain.

This area of low pressure will finally slide eastward Monday, allowing brighter, drier and warmer conditions to return.

Temperatures look to stay almost 10 degrees above average through most of the new week with a few chances of rain attached. The best chances for rain will be Tuesday and Wednesday.
