PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Workers at UPMC will be on the picket line this week for a one-day strike, seeking better pay, benefits and the ability to unionize.

The strike will take place at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday near Terrace and Darragh Streets.

Several Pittsburgh politicians are expected to attend, including Lt. Gov. John Fetterman.

Presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders has emailed his supporters to join the rally and take part in the picketing in Oakland.
