Ducklings Rescued After Falling Into Storm Drain

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A brood of ducklings were rescued after they fell into a storm drain this morning.

This morning in Bethel Park at Cool Springs Sports Complex , about 10 ducklings were found in a storm drain located on Cool Springs Road.

They were trapped for several hours until a state police animal humane officer and Cool Springs manager found the baby ducks and worked to rescue them.

After being fished out in a net, they were carried away from the storm drain and reunited with their mama.
