Police Arrest Man Accused Of Attempted Rape, Assault
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A Central Northside man wanted on sexual assault charges has been arrested.
The Pittsburgh Police say Michael Ponton, 53, faces charges of criminal attempt rape, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and strangulation.
They say the assault happened hours before his arrest, which happened around 3:30 a.m. this morning.
