Man In Hospital Following Accidental Gunshot Wound

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police responded to reports of a gunshot being fired in downtown Pittsburgh late Wednesday night.

The incident was reported along Ft. Duquesne Boulevard and 7th Street just after 10 p.m.

When they arrived on scene they found a man that may have accidentally shot himself in the leg after searching through his backpack at the bus stop.

Police found the firearm was legally registered to the victim and he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
