The Pittsburgh Police's Free Student Police Academy Is Accepting Applications

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Time is running out to sign up for the free student police academy with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.

High school students will train and experience what it is like to be a police officer.

Classes begin next Wednesday at Point Park University.

The academy is held every Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. for 10 weeks.

The deadline for sign up is Friday.
