Plum Borough School District Student Submits Shoe Design For Vans Sneakers Contest

PLUM BOROUGH (KDKA) -- #Vote4MicahsDesign is in full-swing in Plum Borough School District.

Micah Pierce, a student in Plum Borough School District, has entered a shoe design in a Vans' design contest.

If his design garners the most votes, he'll win a grand prize of $25,000.

Pierce says he would use the $25,000 toward his college education.

Voting is open until October 13 and those interested can vote on the Vans website once per day.
