Student At Uniontown High School In Custody After Using Snapchat To Threaten Shooting

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) -- A 17-year-old senior at Uniontown Area High School is in custody after using social media to threaten a shooting.

The Uniontown Police said the student posted the threat about a school shooting on Snapchat and sent it to multiple students.

Those students came forward Tuesday and an investigation started.

Officials said the student will be charged as a juvenile. No name is being released.
