A neighbor KDKA spoke with said it's usually pretty quiet on the street, but not this time.

"I talked to all the neighbors and they said someone got shot," said Eric.

While Eric didn't hear the shots go off, he saw police in the area.

"I had to run out and grab some pop for the Steelers game because we ran out of soda. I come driving up the street, there's all these police cars and they're standing on the porch," said Eric.

A woman who lives next door said her sister is 37-years-old. She said her sister got involved in some sort of dispute with 58-year-old Veronica Lattimore. She said the women used to live together, and they got into an argument over belongings that were still at the home. After the shooting, she said her sister was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

She said Lattimore, who lives there, was taken into custody.

"People are generally nice people. We're surprised to see it happen like this," said Eric.
