Post Office In Beaver County Named In Honor Of Local Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
BEAVER COUNTY (KDKA) -- A post office in Beaver County will be renamed in honor of a local fallen soldier.
The post office on Mill Street in Hookstown will be known as the Staff Sergeant Dylan Elchin Post Office Building.
Last year, Sergeant Elchin was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
He was born in Brighton Township and enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from Hopewell High School.
