Point Park University Adding Varsity Esports Team
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Point Park University is adding its 18th varsity sports team.
The university announced it's now recruiting esports competitors and offering scholarships to join the team.
Point Park will compete against other universities, beginning in the fall of 2020.
The university hosted the Steel City Showdown back in May.
It was the largest esports tournament ever hosted in Pittsburgh.
