World Cancer Day Marks 20th Anniversary
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- World Cancer Day has been recognized every Feb. 4 since the start of the millennium.
That makes today the 20th anniversary.
It is the initiative of six cancer experts, determined that the global challenge of cancer not be forgotten in the new century.
They want to raise awareness and reduce the number of cancer deaths worldwide.
