One Person Dead, One In Serious Condition Due To House Fire On Bigelow Street

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A woman has died and another person is in serious condition due to a house fire on Bigelow Street.

The person injured was taken out of the home and transported to a local hospital where they are currently in serious condition.

Helen Cassidy, age 88, was the victim in the fire.

A third person was outside of the home at the time of the fire and they only sustained minor injuries.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Wendell Hissrich, the call came in around 3:20 a.m.
