Flood Advisory Issued For Ohio River Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for the Ohio River area.

The advisory was issued at 12:15 a.m. Saturday will be in effect until 8 p.m. tonight. NWS said that they expected 18 feet of runoff water Saturday morning, caused by the heavy rain on Friday.

If the water crests, it could flood the Monongahela Parking Wharf.
