Driver Goes Unconscious While Driving Box Truck In Shadyside

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A man died after he went unconscious while driving a box truck in Shadyside on Thursday morning.

According to Police, the man suffered a medical issue while driving and it caused him to lose consciousness while he was driving near 5th Avenue and Penn Avenue.

The passenger of the truck grabbed the wheel and steered the truck out of traffic and into a pole.

The man was taken to the hospital but died.
