Pennsylvania Bill Prohibiting Marriage For Anyone Younger Than 18 Heading To Gov. Tom Wolf's Desk
HARRISBURG (KDKA) -- A bill to end child marriage in Pennsylvania is headed to Gov. Tom Wolf's desk.
The legislation would prohibit anyone younger than 18 years old from getting a marriage license.
Current laws allow anyone younger than 16 to be married with court approval, and those between 16 and 18 can get married with consent from a parent.
