Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank Passes 10 Million Pounds Of Food Distributed
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has been at the forefront of helping those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have given away more than 10 million pounds of food.
This includes 1.4 million pounds of food given to 26,000 cars at 31 drive-up distributions.
All of the food was delivered by 365 agencies and partners across 11 counties.
