Pirates Catcher Luke Maile Undergoes Surgery For Fractured Right Finger

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pirates have announced that catcher Luke Maile has undergone surgery to repair a fractured right index finger.

According to the Pirates, he sustained the injury after being hit by a pitch during Thursday's intra-squad game at PNC Park.

He is projected to resume competitive baseball activities in 10-12 weeks, according to the club.
