Pirates Recall Pitcher Nick Tropeano, Option Pitcher Nick Mears

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pirates have recalled right-handed pitcher Nick Tropeano from the club's alternate training site in Altoona.
In a corresponding move, they have optioned right-handed pitcher Nick Mears.
Tropeano was a fifth-round pick of the Houston Astros in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft and debuted with them in 2014.
Over 42 games in the majors, he has gone 12-14 with an ERA of 4.51.
