MT. LEBANON, Pa. (KDKA) — A Mt. Lebanon school board member has resigned for making offensive comments.

Michael Riemer used derogatory language ahead of the district’s meeting. It was broadcasted on Zoom before the official meeting began.

Last week, Reimer apologized and said he didn’t realize his mic was not muted. A group of parents started a petition calling on him to resign or the board to remove him.
