Speed Limits Restored After Temporarily Limitations Placed On Interstate 279, Interstate 376

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- PennDOT has restored Speed limits on several Pittsburgh-area highways that were put in place due to inclement weather.

Speed limits had been reduced to 45 mph along Interstate 279 in Allegheny County and along Interstate 376 between I-79 in Allegheny County and the Route 151/Hopewell exit (Exit 48) in Beaver County.

PennDOT is urging drivers to avoid unnecessary travel if possible.
