DCNR Reminds Drivers Of Risks Of Driving On State Forest Roads

WESTMORELAND COUNTY (KDKA) - The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is reminding drivers that it does not plow or salt roads in state forests.

The dirt roads through those remote areas can be very difficult in the snow.

In the Forbes State Forest in Fayette, Westmoreland, and Somerset counties, the DCNR says they have found more than two dozen cars recently abandoned in the snow.
