Woman Arrested For Stabbing And Killing Husband In Aliquippa

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (KDKA) - A woman is in the Beaver County Jail after she was arrested for stabbing her husband and ultimately killing him in Aliquippa overnight.

Just before midnight, Aliquippa Police were called to a home on Return Street for a call of a man stabbed.

Angela Hunt had called 911 saying she had stabbed her husband and was unsure if he was still alive.

"It's very shocking," said neighbor Robby Hall. "This street is pretty quiet."

Hall lives a few doors down from the Hunts on Return Street.

"Never seen any physical -- no violence or nothing transpire between them," said Hall. "So, it was very shocking to me last night when I heard the dogs out here barking and everything."

Once police arrived, Hunt was taken into custody and first responders determined her husband Chad was dead and had multiple stab wounds.

"All couples have their problems, but to have gone that far..." said Hall. "I just don't know what happened."

"They just had their ups and downs like most people," said Clarence Walker, who has lived on the street for about 40 years. "But their downs is more than ups."

Walker says he heard the couple argue often, but he never expected an outcome like this.

"It's just something unnecessary that happened," said Walker. "I hope it don't happen again, but you know how people are."

Angela Hunt is facing criminal homicide charges and is now at the Beaver County Jail awaiting arraignment.

State police are investigating.
