PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The state parks and forests in Pennsylvania are preparing for a busy Memorial Day Weekend.

Visitation increased 26% last summer and the state is expecting even more people to use the parks this summer.

Last year, nearly 47 million people visited the parks and forests.

Those 47 million represented 10 million more than the year before the pandemic.
