CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) — A SWAT situation at a Red Roof Inn in Cranberry Township ended without incident Tuesday.

Police surrounded the hotel after a man experienced “some emotional and possibly psychiatric issues,” Cranberry Township Police Chief Kevin Meyer said. The man also had a gun, according to police.

The scene cleared around 10:30 p.m.

“This ended without incident and we are seeing this gentleman is getting the care he needs,” the chief said.
