Philips Recalling Millions Of Its Sleep Apnea Machines Over Health Hazard

By: KDKA-TV News Staff

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Philips is voluntarily recalling millions of its sleep apnea machines and ventilators because the foam used as part of those machines may degrade and the particles may be inhaled by users.

The foam may also give off chemicals, which could be toxic.

The recall includes about 3-4 million C-PAP machines.

Most of them are "Dream Station" products.
