Red-Tailed Hawk Freed After Getting Stuck In Police Car's Push Bumper

WASHINGTON COUNTY (KDKA) -- A red-tailed hawk in Washington County got itself in a precarious situation.

The Carroll Township Police Department says the bird flew into a police SUV and got stuck behind the push bumper.

The good news is that hawk was later freed and flew off. Police say the hawk had no apparent injuries.

A Red-Tailed Hawk flew into Unit 6302 and got stuck behind the push bumper. The hawk was freed, and apparently uninjured, was able to fly off.
