No two shows are the same as the show relies on audience participation. The Pittsburgh-based entertainment company, which is known as Musical Mysteries and More or Much Ado Entertainment, employs actors, directors and writers. The company does improvise to allow the audience to participate as much or as little as needed. Musical Mysteries and More performs regularly at a variety of restaurants and is available for private parties.

“Murder For Two” is a musical whodunit comedy with dinner available for guests that arrive 60-90 minutes before curtain call. “Murder For Two” has a twist of only two actors. One actor is the detective and the other plays the rest of the characters while each play the piano. The musical comedy runs from October 22, 2014 through January 18, 2015.

Enjoy a murder mystery on the water with “The Haunting” on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Boarding starts at 5:30 p.m., departs at 6:30 p.m. and returns at 9:30 p.m. The plot includes an elopement cut short by murder from 100 years ago with all of the ghosts returning to relive that day. The show is limited to over 21 and adult tickets are $60. The show is performed by McCaffery Mysteries, a professional interactive murder mystery theater dinner company.

“Murder by Magic” is an adults-only show by Merchant Entertainment produced with special arrangement with Moushey Mysteries, Inc. The show is October 18 at 9 p.m. and the plot involves a psychic taking the audience through a seance with the murdered couple. The couple was a magic team that involved sawing the wife in half. On the fateful night, he actually sawed her in half and hanged himself. The seance is a result of the couple haunting the location.

Travel about 45 minutes outside of the city for “Death Bites” murder mystery dinner at Rockwell’s Red Lion Restaurant. Join the mystery dinner theater on Saturday, October 22, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. The price is $50 with alcoholic drinks not included. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. but it is suggested to arrive by 6:15 p.m. The dinner theater is being performed by Mystery’s Most Wanted. It is a Pittsburgh-based company that has been in business 12 years. The show has five professional character actors with strong improv skills to perform the whodunit. The company will and has traveled as far west as Chicago and was featured on a PBS documentary.
