They have antique and rare books, including first editions and some are even signed by the author. The vast majority of books that are in print can be specially ordered. They buy quality used books and collections in exchange for cash or store credit. They are open everyday of the week except Saturday and Monday. The staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

East End Book Exchange (EEBX) is a general interest used bookstore in the Bloomfield area. The EEBX started as a pop-up bookstore in community space or local businesses in different areas of the East End on the weekends before opening at their location in 2011. Founded on two simple ideas of love of books and love of Pittsburgh, their mission is to connect book lovers and books. They are also a member of the Online Booksellers' Association. They are open six days a week and closed on Mondays.
