2nd Officer Under Scrutiny in Roethlisberger Case

Ben Roethlisberger

The attorney for a Pittsburgh suburb says he'll review the police file to gauge the conduct of a police officer with Ben Roethlisberger the night the Steelers quarterback was accused of sexual assault at a Georgia nightclub last month.

Coraopolis solicitor Richard Start wants to review more than 500 pages of records from the Milledgeville, Ga. police and Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Coraopolis officer Anthony Barravecchio has been described by some witnesses as being with Roethlisberger's accuser in a hallway outside the restroom where she claimed to be assaulted. Authorities didn't charge Roethlisberger with a crime.

Barravecchio's attorney has said the officer was sober, didn't do anything wrong, and didn't see Roethlisberger do anything wrong either.
